IMGC Objective
The martial art aims to cultivate moral culture to win oneself rather than beat the opponent and to promote physical fitness to stop any fight with righteous strength.
The increasing popularity of martial arts is related to society’s present preoccupation with excessive materialism. However, this materialistic attitude has failed to satisfy the void of spiritual fulfillment that society is seeking. With the growing violence in our world, individuals have been left feeling helpless and vulnerable. More than ever before, people of all ages are knocking at the doors of martial arts schools in search of a more secure and disciplined life style.
All kinds of eastern martial arts including Taekwon-Do, Wushu and Karate-Do spreading throughout the world, we, as the martial artists, have boundless honor and pride.
It is with great pleasure to organize together with you, the martial artists, the International Martial Arts Committee, which could be called martial arts Olympic that was created for the benefit of not only the people in this era but also for the future generations.
